Game operation and local data

RELEASE does not operate its own game server. Game progress, best routes, parts, garage items, achievements, streaks, and settings are stored on the device first. The campaign, garage, and local jobs also work without an internet connection. Local data can be deleted by clearing the app data for RELEASE in Android settings or uninstalling the app.

Google Play Games and cloud progress

RELEASE uses Google Play Games Services and Saved Games. When a Play Games profile is connected, saved progress and technical synchronization information are associated with the Play Games account and transmitted to Google. This allows progress to be restored after reinstalling the app or on another connected Android device. The app does not process the player's email address and does not operate its own account database. The game remains available locally without Play Games sign-in. Cloud data can be managed through Google Play Games or Google account settings. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Apple Game Center and iCloud progress

On iOS, RELEASE uses Apple Game Center and Saved Games in iCloud. When Game Center is connected and iCloud is available, progress and technical synchronization information are stored by Apple and associated with the Apple account. RELEASE does not receive the player's email address or operate its own account database. The game remains available locally without Game Center sign-in. See the Apple Privacy Policy.

Downloadable level catalog

Supported versions check for additional level data hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. These requests send normal connection information, including the IP address, to the hosting service. The catalog request does not upload saved progress. Downloaded level data is cached on the device; bundled and cached levels remain available offline.

Chapter completion ads

From Android 1.6.0 and iOS 1.2.0, an AdMob full-screen ad may appear when continuing after the first complete finish of a chapter. Ads are preloaded after privacy checks. If no ad is available, play continues immediately. Replaying completed chapters does not trigger another chapter ad. The data processing and privacy choices described below also apply to chapter ads.

Optional rewarded ads

The Android and iOS apps use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for optional rewarded videos. An ad is requested only after the player selects a clearly labeled reward button. Google's User Messaging Platform is used for required privacy choices before an eligible ad request. Google Mobile Ads may process approximate location derived from the IP address, product interactions, diagnostic and performance data, and device or account identifiers including advertising ID and app set ID for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and security. See the Google advertising information and Mobile Ads SDK disclosure guidance.

Refusing or withdrawing advertising consent does not block campaign levels, the garage, or local jobs. If no video is available, no reward is granted and normal gameplay remains available.

On iOS, the app requests App Tracking Transparency permission before the first optional rewarded video if no decision has been recorded. Refusing tracking permission does not block gameplay. See the Mobile Ads SDK disclosure guidance for iOS.

Permissions

The apps use internet access for cloud saves, platform sign-in, level catalog downloads, privacy choices, and optional rewarded ads. Local iOS data can be removed by deleting the app. The core game and local progress work offline.
